1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CookieSeal (cookieseal.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms form a binding contract between you and Hostao LLC.
2. Service Description
CookieSeal provides cookie consent management software as a service, including cookie scanning, consent banner display, consent logging, and compliance reporting tools. The service is provided on a subscription basis.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service. One account per legal entity or individual.
4. Subscription & Billing
Free plan is available with stated limits. Paid plans are billed monthly. All prices in INR unless stated otherwise. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. No refunds for partial months (see Refund Policy). We may change pricing with 30 days notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use CookieSeal to: violate any laws or regulations; infringe intellectual property rights; transmit malware or malicious code; scrape or overload our systems; circumvent privacy laws rather than comply with them; resell the service without our written permission.
6. Data Processing
By using CookieSeal on your website, you appoint Hostao LLC as a Data Processor for visitor consent data. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available at /dpa. You remain the Data Controller and are responsible for your privacy policy and compliance obligations.
7. Intellectual Property
CookieSeal, its software, design, and documentation are owned by Hostao LLC. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of CookieSeal.
8. Warranties & Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to ensure uptime and accuracy but do not guarantee 100% availability or compliance outcomes. You are responsible for implementing the service correctly on your website. We do not provide legal advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hostao LLC's liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow this limitation.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Hostao LLC from claims arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your website's privacy practices.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. We may terminate immediately for material breach or non-payment. Upon termination, your access ends and data is deleted per our retention policy.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in Sheridan County, Wyoming.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
